Summary/Major Elements: Current law requires that the public safety communications commission include among its members a representative of the Wyoming Ambulance and Emergency Medical Services Association. This act removes the specific reference to the above association and provides for a representative from "an ambulance and emergency medical services organization."
WORKING DRAFT ORIGINAL SENATE FILE NO. 0116 ENROLLED ACT NO. 36, SENATE FIFTY-NINTH LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WYOMING 2007 GENERAL SESSION AN ACT relating to the public safety communications commission; revising requirements for a member representing ambulance and emergency medical services providers as specified; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. W.S. 9 ‑ 2 ‑ 1102(a)(xii) is amended to read: 9 ‑ 2 ‑ 1102. Commission; composition; appointment of members; removal; terms; officers; vacancies; meetings. (a) The commission shall consist of seventeen (17) voting members to be appointed by the governor and who may be removed by the governor as provided in W.S. 9 ‑ 1 ‑ 202. The seventeen (17) members shall be appointed from each of the following associations and agencies from their membership: (xii) Wyoming An ambulance and emergency medical services association organization ; Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2007.
