Sponsored by: Senator(s) Mockler, Decaria, Job, Massie and Sessions and Representative(s) Bagby and Warren A BILL for AN ACT relating to labor and employment; amending the minimum wage as specified; providing for an automatic adjustment as specified ; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming : Section 1. W.S. 27 ‑ 4 ‑ 202(a) is amended to read: 27 ‑ 4 ‑ 202. Minimum wage rates. (a) Every employer shall pay to each of his or her employees wages at a rate of not less than five dollars and fifteen cents ($5.15) seven dollars and twenty-five cents ($7.25) per hour , as adjusted every five (5) years, beginning January 1, 2012, by the cumulative comparative cost-of-living index for Wyoming as determined by the division of economic analysis, department of administration and information for the five (5) year period . Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2007. (END) 1 SF0122
