of participants, market factors, delivery of service data, usual and customary
charges and other appropriate data.

AN ACT relating to Medicaid; providing for regular revision of provider reimbursement schedules as specified; and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of
Wyoming

104 by creating a new subsection (e) is amended to read:

Powers and duties of department of health.

(e)

The department shall, every two (2) years in conjunction with the biennial budget process,
propose
a new reimbursement schedule for providers of services authorized pursuant to W.S. 42
‑
4
‑
103, using the most recent employment data, including vacancies, numbers of applicants, market factors, delivery of services data, usual and customary charges for the services and other
appropriate data available to the department.
The new reimbursement schedule shall not apply to those providers who have or will have a reimbursement system to cover increases in costs for Medicaid services.

Section 2.

This act is effective July 1, 2008.
