WORKING DRAFT 2008 STATE OF WYOMING 08LSO-0305 HOUSE BILL NO. HB0051 Multiple special handicapped license plates. Sponsored by: Representative(s) Edwards A BILL for AN ACT relating to motor vehicle registration; providing for the issuance of multiple special handicapped license plates for each vehicle registered in the name of an eligible applicant; repealing a conflicting provision; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming : Section 1. W.S. 31 ‑ 2 ‑ 213(h) by creating a new paragraph (viii) is amended to read: 31 ‑ 2 ‑ 213. Department to supply registration certificates, plates and stickers; removable windshield placards. (h) Effective January 1, 1993, any person eligible for a special placard under subsection (c) of this section may apply to the county treasurer for special license plates for a motor vehicle owned by that person. Special license plates shall not be issued to any person who is eligible only for a temporary removable windshield placard under subsection (g) of this section. Special plates issued under this subsection are subject to the following: (viii) The county treasurer shall issue a set of plates for each vehicle registered to a qualified applicant under this subsection upon payment of required fees. Section 2. W.S. 31 ‑ 2 ‑ 213(h)(iv) is repealed. Section 3. This act is effective July 1, 2008. (END) 1 HB0051
