Subject: Animal damage management program. Summary/Major Elements: Under current law, fees collected on livestock inspections and general funds are distributed by the Animal Damage Management Board to the counties for predator control, particularly coyote control for the protection of livestock and wildlife. The Animal damage management program had a sunset date providing for the program to terminate on January 1, 2009. This bill repeals the sunset date. Comments: Contains delayed effective/repeal date: Repeals future sunset date.
WORKING DRAFT 2008 STATE OF WYOMING 08LSO-0017 AN ACT relating to the animal damage management program; repealing the sunset date for the animal damage management program; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming : Section 1. W.S. 11 ‑ 6 ‑ 313 is repealed. Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2008.
