A BILL

for

AN ACT relating to
community colleges; providing appropriations for certain capital construction projects as specified; providing for carry over of unexpended funds;
and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of
Wyoming
:

Section 1.

(a)

T
here is appropriated from the general fund to the
Wyoming
community college commission the following amounts for expenditure for the capital construction projects listed:

(i)

Ten million dollars ($10,000,000.00) for the center for training and development at
Casper

College
;

(ii)

Eleven million four hundred thirty-four thousand dollars ($11,434,000.00) for the applied science and technology
classroom
building at
Northwest

Wyoming

Community College
;

(iii)

Nine million nine hundred seventeen thousand dollars ($9,917,000.00) for the applied health and trades project building at
Central

Wyoming

Community College
.

(b)

The funds appropriated under subsection (a) of this section shall be retained by the commission and
made
available to the community college to fund the authorized project only to the extent that funds
have first been
received
by the community college
from other nongeneral fund sources, public or private
,

in the following amounts
:

(i)

Ten million two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($10,250,000.00) match for the project authorized under paragraph (a)(i) of this section;

(ii)

Four million three hundred twenty-nine thousand dollars ($4,329,000.00) match f
or
the project
authorized under paragraph (a)(ii) of this section;

(iii)

Nine million nine hundred seventeen thousand dollars ($9,917,000.00) match for the project authorized under paragraph (a)(iii) of this section.

207, any funds appropriated under Section 1 of this act which are unexpended as of June 30, 2010, shall not revert but shall be retained by the community college commission for the purposes specified in Section 1 of this act
and shall remain until the project is completed

This act is effective July 1, 2008.
