Sponsored by: Senator(s) Landen and Case A BILL for AN ACT relating to telecommunications; excluding switched access services from price increases in revenue neutral adjustments in rates; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. W.S. 37 ‑ 15 ‑ 203(e) is amended to read: 37 ‑ 15 ‑ 203. Price regulation of noncompetitive essential services. (e) A local exchange company may seek approval to make revenue neutral adjustments, considering only revenue from noncompetitive essential telecommunications services, to the price of noncompetitive essential telecommunications services to reduce or eliminate differences in the price of noncompetitive essential telecommunications services in different portions of its service area. A local exchange company shall not use adjustments under this section to increase receipt of state universal service funds or increase switched access prices . Section 2. This act is effective immediately upon co m pletion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constit u tion. (END) 1 SF0096
