act repeals the Interstate Compact for Supervision of Parolees and
Probationers.

Comment:

The
Interstate Compact for Supervision of Parolees and Probationers, enacted in
1939, has been superseded by the Interstate Compact for Adult Offender
Supervision, which was enacted into law by 2001 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter
71. Section 2 of Chapter 71 made the latter Compact effective on July 1, 2001,
or upon enactment by the 35
th
jurisdiction, whichever occurred later.
The Compact was ratified by the 35
th
state on June 19, 2002, thereby
making the earlier Compact obsolete.
