Summary/Major Elements: The act expressly allows the business council of the Eastern Shoshone Indian Tribe, the business council of the Northern Arapaho Indian Tribe and the joint business council of the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho Tribes to participate in the community facilities program. Participation must be through cooperative agreements between those entities and the Wyoming business council.
WORKING DRAFT ORIGINAL HOUSE BILL NO. 0029 ENROLLED ACT NO. 6, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES SIXTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WYOMING 2009 GENERAL SESSION AN ACT relating to the community facilities program; allowing the Eastern Shoshone Tribe and the Northern Arapaho Tribe to participate in the program; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming : Section 1. W.S. 9 ‑ 12 ‑ 805 is created to read: 9 ‑ 12 ‑ 805. Tribal participation in community facil ities program. The council may enter into cooperative agreements with the business council of the Eastern Shoshone Indian Tribe, the business council of the Northern Arapaho Indian Tribe or the joint business council of the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho Indian Tribes to promote the purposes of the community facilities program and to allow those entities to participate in the program. Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2009.
