103 by creating a new subsection (d) is amended to read:

Rules and regulations; procedure; initiation of proceedings.

(d)

Rules adopted by the division pursuant to this section shall require that all ambulances carry on board an appropriate pathogen disinfectant for use by any person on the scene of an emergency who may have been exposed to a blood borne pathogen, along with written information packets regarding the proper use of the disinfectant and any follow up medical care or testing. The division shall maintain an inventory of
appropriate
disinfectant and
information packets for use by licensed ambulance services.

Section 2.

There is appropriated fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) from the general fund to the department of health. This appropriation shall be for the period beginning with the effective date of this act and ending June 30, 2010. This appropriation shall only be expended for the purpose of acquiring blood borne pathogen disinfectant and information packets pursuant to W.S. 33

‑
103(d) created by this act. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, this appropriation shall not be transferred or expended for any other purpose and any unexpended, unobligated funds remaining from this appropriation shall revert as provided by law on June 30, 2010. This appropriation shall be included in the department's 2011-2012 standard biennial budget request.

Section 3.

This act is effective July 1, 2009.
