WORKING DRAFT ORIGINAL HOUSE BILL NO. 0183 ENROLLED ACT NO. 78, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES SIXTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WYOMING 2009 GENERAL SESSION AN ACT relating to educational assistance for national guard members; expanding post secondary education institutions for which program assistance may be applied; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming : Section 1. W.S. 19 ‑ 9 ‑ 502 (a)(vi) is amended to read: 19 ‑ 9 ‑ 502. Definitions. (a) As used in this article: (vi) "Wyoming institution of higher education" or "institution" means a public or private educational institution located within this state and approved for payment of Montgomery GI Bill benefits . "Institution" includes a public or private educational institution offering an accredited degree program in Wyoming through distance education under a partnership agreement with any branch of the United States armed forces ; Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2009.
