Wyoming
:

Section 1.

High profile case contingency
account
created;
reimbursement for expenses
.

(a)

There is created the high profile case contingency
account
.
The
high profile case contingency

account
shall consist of those funds designated to the
account
by law and all monies collected from federal grants and other contributions, grants, gifts, bequests and donations to the
account
.
Monies in the account
are continuously appropriated to the
Wyoming
supreme court
to be expended as provided in this section.

(b)

The
Wyoming

supreme court
shall
establish criteria for distributing funds from the high profile case contingency account to counties for the purpose of compensating counties for increased court security costs incurred due to high profile cases. Before distributing funds to any county, the supreme court shall enter into a memorandum of understanding with the county which provides for the use of the funds and specifies obligations for reimbursement.

There is appropriated
one hundred thousand dollars
(
$100,000.00
) from the general fund to the
high profile case contingency account
administered by the
Wyoming
supreme court
. This appropriation shall be for the period beginning with the effective date of this act and ending June 30, 2010. This appropriation shall only be expended for the purpose of funding
payments made to counties

the high profile case contingency
account
created pursuant to W.S. 5

102. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, this appropriation shall not be transferred or expended for any other purpose
.
