:

the 2009-2010 school year and each school year
thereafter

shall be registered for
one (1) of
the success curricula required for

Hathaway scholarship

as specified under this section. The student shall be enrolled in the appropriate curricula
in each year of grades nine (9) through twelve (12) unless the student and the student's parent or guardian execute a written waiver in accordance with this subsection. Each student enrolling in ninth grade shall be provided a waiver form which explains that by signing the waiver, the student and parent
or guardian
understand
and agree that
the student is electing to not take a curriculum which is required for a Hathaway scholarship and that by doing so, the student m

y be limiting opportunities for other scholarships available for post secondary education. For any student initially enrolling in a school district in grades ten (10) through twelve (12) in the 2009
‑
2010 school year and each year thereafter, the district shall provide a waiver
pursuant to this subsection
unless the student and his parent
or guardian
have previously executed a waiver in another Wyoming school district or the student can no longer meet the curriculum requirements of this section.

The courses set forth as success curricula requirements under this article shall be aligned with the student content and performance standards established pursuant to W.S. 21

‑
304(a)(iii). The department shall by rule and regulation:
