Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of
Wyoming
:

Section 1.

314(b) and by creating a new subsection (c) is amended to read:

Sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree; penalties.

(b)

Except as provided in
subsection
(c) of this section, a
person convicted under
subsection (a)
of this section is subject to imprisonment for not more than fifty (50) years, unless the person convicted qualifies under W.S. 6

306(e).

(c)

A
person convicted under
paragraph
(a)
(i)
of this section
, where the actor is at least eighteen (18) years of age,
is subject to imprisonment for not
less than twenty-five (25) years nor
more than fifty (50) years, unless the person convicted qualifies under W.S. 6

‑
306(e).

Section 2.

This act is effective July 1, 2009.
