Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of
Wyoming
:

Section 1.

103(b) by creating a new paragraph (xvii) is amended to read:

Imposition.

(b)

Basis of tax. The following shall apply:

(xvii)

Notwithstanding paragraph (ii) of this subsection, the assessed value of
any property within
the class of property defined by W.S. 39

shall not increase in any one (1) calendar year by more than t

assessed value of the property from the
previous calendar year.
The limitation in this paragraph shall not apply to any improvement or transfer of the property.

Section 2.

This act is effective January 1, 2011 but only if the electors adopt a constitutional amendment as proposed in 2
009 House Joint Resolution HJ0019
prior to December 31, 2010 authorizing
the legislature to determine the maximum amount of any property tax that can be collected and prescribe restrictions upon the increase of the rate of taxation or assessment for all classes of property.
