504, "human being" or "person" includes a child conceived but not yet born.
However, nothing in this section shall be construed to make any of those sections applicable to any one
(1)
or more of the following:

(i)

Any legal or accidental act committed by a mother upon an unborn child;

(ii)

Any medical procedure, including induced abortion, performed by a licensed physician or other licensed health care provider a
t
the request of the pregnant woman or her legal guardian;

(iii)

The lawful dispensation or administration of lawfully prescribed medication;

(iv)

Any act involving the use of force in lawful self

defense of another.

Section 2.

This act is effective July 1, 2009.
