Currently the law provides
that an easement or agreement which does not specifically describe the location
of the easement or which grants a right to locate an easement at a later date will
be valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of execution of the
easement or agreement, if the specific description is recorded within one (1)
year of the easement or agreement.

This bill provides that an option
to obtain an easement at a later date shall not be considered an easement or agreement
under that law.

This bill provides that such options
shall not exceed a period of seven (7) years.

(e)

For purposes of this section options to obtain easements at a later date shall not be considered easements or agreements pursuant to subsections (b) and (c) of this section
and shall be for a period not to exceed seven (7) years
.

This act is effective immediately upon co

pletion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constit
