Catch Title:
Wyoming pipeline authority.

Subject:

Wyoming

pipeline authority budget.

Summary/Major Elements:

●

The Wyoming pipeline
authority, a state instrumentality, has historically been funded by loans from
the state. In 2008, the Attorney General opined that the Authority could be
funded with direct appropriations. Last session's budget bill did so and
required a study of issues related to funding the authority with direct
appropriations.

●

This act requires the Wyoming pipeline authority to submit its budget for review in the same manner as state
agencies before it can receive any appropriation from the legislature.

●

This act limits any appropriation to the Wyoming pipeline authority to use for purely administrative purposes, which may include
planning and research.

●

The
act deletes certain archaic language.
