WORKING DRAFT 2011 STATE OF WYOMING 11LSO-0474 HOUSE BILL NO. HB0162 OSHA rule review. Sponsored by: Representative(s) Burkhart and Senator(s) Nutting A BILL for AN ACT relating to the office of occupational health and safety; providing that the office shall review its rules and regulations as specified; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming : Section 1. W.S. 27 ‑ 11 ‑ 105 (b)(ii) (A) is amended to read: 27 ‑ 11 ‑ 105. Occupational health and safety commission; powers and duties of commission and department. (b) The commission has the following powers and duties: (ii) To promulgate, devise, formulate, adopt, amend, and repeal rules and regulations and to appoint advisory committees equally composed of employers and employees from the industries involved to assist and advise the commission: (A) All rules and regulations shall be reviewed as needed and revised as necessary , except as provided herein . Such review would be under the same procedures as the original establishment of the rules and regulations . The commission shall review all rules and regulations governing dri lling, servicing and special servicing of oil and gas wells by the first of July of each even-numbered year. The commission shall determine whether the rules and regulations are internally consistent and remain necessary ; Section 2 . This act is effective July 1, 201 1 . (END) 1 HB0162
