Sponsored by: Representative(s) Kroeker, Brechtel, Davison, Edmonds , Gay, Jaggi, McKim, Miller and Quarberg and Senator(s) Dockstader, Hicks, Jennings and Nutting A BILL for AN ACT relating to eminent domain; authorizing the taking of specified property which is possessed by the federal government; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming : Section 1. W.S. 1 ‑ 26 ‑ 818 is created to read: 1 ‑ 26 ‑ 818. Other property which may be taken. The p roperty which may be taking under this act shall include property possessed by the federal government unless the property is owned by the federal government in accordance with the United States Constitution Article I, Section 8, Clause 17. Section 2. W.S. 1 ‑ 26 ‑ 502(a)(vi) is amended to read: 1 ‑ 26 ‑ 502. Definitions. (a) As used in this act: (vi) "This act" means W.S. 1 ‑ 26 ‑ 501 through 1 ‑ 26 ‑ 817 1 ‑ 26 ‑ 818 . Section 3.
