A BILL

AN ACT relating to
taxation and revenue; providing for the distribution of the tax upon production of electricity from wind resources;
and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of
Wyoming
:

Section 1.

111(a)(ii) and by creating a new paragraph (iii) is amended to read:

Distribution

(a)

The proceeds from the tax imposed by this chapter shall be transferred to the state treasurer to be distributed as follows:

(ii)

Forty percent (40%)

Thirty-eight percent (38%)
shall be deposited in the state general fund

(iii)

Two percent (2%) shall be deposited into the
Wyoming
wildlife trust fund to be expended by the board for the purposes of improving wildlife habitat and enhancing recreational opportunities
.

Section 2.

This act is effective immediately upon co
m
pletion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constit

tion.
