Summary/Major Elements:

This act creates the 100th
State Fair Celebration Account. Deposits to the account may be made by the
legislature or any other entity or individual. Funds from the account shall be
expended to finance and promote the 100th state fair celebration at the 2012
Wyoming State Fair.

The act appropriates $250,000
to the 100th State Fair Celebration Account. This appropriation shall only be
distributed from the account when there has been matching deposits to the
account by other entities and individuals totaling $100,000.

After the $100,000
non-legislative contribution threshold is achieved, the Director of the
Department of Agriculture may authorize additional matching fund distributions
on a monthly basis.

Legislatively appropriated
funds remaining in the account on June 30, 2013 revert to the general fund.
Non-legislatively appropriated funds remaining in the account on June 30, 2013
shall be transferred to the State Fair Account.

Comments:

This act
is repealed on June 30, 2013.

(a)

There is created the
100th
state fair
celebration account. Funds from the account shall be expended to finance and pr
omote the
100th
state fair
celebration at the 2012
Wyoming
state fair.
Any individual, agency, local government, organization
or entity may contribut
e funds or gifts to finance and promote the
100th

state fair celebration. All fun
ds contributed
to the
department
for the purp
oses
of this section
shall
be deposited in the
100th
state fair
celebration account.
When funds
deposited in the account from any individual, agency, local government, organization or entity

Section 2
.

There is appropriated from the general fund to the
100
th

state fair celebration account two hundred fifty
thousand dollars ($250,000.00).
Any legislatively appropriated funds remaining in the account on June 30, 2013 shall revert to the general fund.

Section 3.

The appropriation in section 2 of this act shall be reduced dollar for dollar by any funds appropriated in 2011 Senate File 0001 for the purposes of this act.
