WORKING DRAFT 2011 STATE OF WYOMING 11LSO-0573 SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. SJ0008 Property rights. Sponsored by: Senator(s) Driskill A Bill for A JOINT RESOLUTION declaring that private property rights in Wyoming should not be condemned by a private party for their own personal or economic gain. WHEREAS, private property rights are one of the fundamental rights on which this country was established; and WHEREAS, it is private property and all of the rewards and incentive s that accompany property ownership which distinguishes the United States from other countries. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEMBERS OF THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WYOMING : Section 1. That the Wyoming Legislature finds that the protection of private property rights is essential to a free democratic country and that private property rights should not be condemned by a private person or entity for their own personal or economic gain.
