Sponsored by: Representative(s) Childers, Blake, Miller and Teeters and Senator(s) Case A BILL for AN ACT relating to land use; prohibiting cities, towns and counties from adopting laws to prohibit automobile collection and renovation as specified; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. W.S. 15 ‑ 1 ‑ 131 and 18 ‑ 2 ‑ 116 are created to read: 15 ‑ 1 ‑ 131. Prohibitions; automobile collection; renovation. No city or town shall enact or enforce an ordinance or regulation that prohibits a person from engaging in motor vehicle collection or motor vehicle renovation activities on private property if all motor vehicles collected or being renovated, and all parts storage and ancillary equipment storage, are located out of public view by means of inside storage, suitable fencing, trees, shrubbery or otherwise . 18 ‑ 2 ‑ 116. Prohibitions; automobile collection; renovation. No rule, regulation , resolution or law promulgated or applied by any county in this state shall prohibit a person from engaging in motor vehicle collection or motor vehicle renovation activities if all motor vehicles collected or being renovated, and all parts storage and ancillary equipment storage, are located out of public view by means of inside storage, suitable fencing, trees, shrubbery or otherwise . Section 2. This act is effective immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constitution. (END) 1 HB0102
