Criminal trespass; penalties.

)

A person
is presumed
to know that he is not authorized to enter
on
the land or premises
of another if the person travels off of
a public
road and
directly
enters
on
private
rural
land
without the permission of the owner or person in charge of the land
. This
subsection
does not apply if a person travels directly to a residence or other
structure and immediately leaves the land or premises if permission
to remain
is
not grante
d
.

As used in this section, "rural land" means
land
outside the boundaries of a city, town or platted subdivision.

Section 2.

This act is effective July 1, 2012.
