AN ACT relating to
state employees; providing for a representative of the judicial branch on the state employee compensation commission;
and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Section 1.

Personnel hearings; state employee compensation commission created; duties.

(e)

The state employee compensation commission is created to review issues related to employee compensation. The commission shall consist of not more than
five (5)

members to serve two (2) year terms.

Three (3) members shall be appointed by the management council of the legislature of whom one (1) shall be from the private sector, and one (1) each from the senate and house of representatives

One (1) member shall be appointed by the
chief justice
of the
Wyoming supreme court
but shall be a nonvoting member

The commission shall elect a chairman from among its two (2) legislative members.

Section 2.

This act is effective immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constitution.
