Summary/Major
Elements:

Personal representatives, administrators, executors,
trustees, conservators, fiduciaries and receivers are appointed in probate
proceedings under the Wyoming Probate Code.

Pursuant to this act, objections to appointments made
under the Wyoming Probate Code must be made no less than five days prior to any
hearing scheduled to consider the appointment.

The five-day deadline is not applicable if a shorter
period of time is specified in the Code or by a court, or where an appointment
will be made with no hearing or no notice.

The five-day limit may be waived by a court upon a
showing of good cause.

Previously, no specific objection deadline was stated in
the Code.
