WORKING DRAFT 2013 STATE OF WYOMING 13LSO-0360.E1 HOUSE BILL NO. HB0058 Community infrastructure program amendments-2. Sponsored by: Representative(s) Byrd A BILL for AN ACT relating to economic development; modifying the consideration necessary to receive a Wyoming business ready community program grant as specified; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. W.S. 9 ‑ 12 ‑ 601(j)(iii) (C) is amended to read: 9 ‑ 12 ‑ 601. Wyoming business ready community program; purpose; creation; rulemaking. (j) Grants may be made by the council for projects, in accordance with rules of the council, which: (iii) Provide a reduction of the costs of electrical power or bandwidth, or both, to businesses meeting the provisions of paragraph (j)(i) or (ii) of this section. In exchange for providing these reductions in costs, the political subdivision receiving the grant and providing the reduction in costs shall contract with the business to receive direct benefits and indirect economic development benefits including: (C) The provision of information technology storage services to the state or the political subdivision at a price discounted from the fair market value of the services ; and Section 2 .
