Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of
Wyoming
:

Section 1.

602(b)(iii) is amended to read:

Contested cases generally.

(b)

Upon receipt of a request for hearing from the division as provided in W.S. 27
‑
14
‑
601(k)(v), the case shall be determined by a hearing examiner in accordance with the law in effect at the time of the injury as a small
claims hearing or as a contested case hearing subject to the following:

(iii)

A
ppeals may be taken from the decision rendered in any small claims hearing or contested case hearing by any affected party to the
district
court
as provided by the Wyoming Administrative Procedure Act
. Notwithstanding the
Wyoming
Administrative Procedure Act, any final judgment of the district court shall be reviewed by the supreme court only upon
a
writ of
review
issued

pursuant to the
Wyoming
Rules of Appellate Procedure
;

Section 2.

This act shall apply to cases involving injuries to workers occurring on or after the effective date of this act.

Section 3.

This act is effective July 1, 2013.
