AN ACT relating to insurance coverage; mandating coverage for accident cleanup costs as specified; providing a definition; specifying applicability; and providing for an effective date.

Definitions
.

(a)

As used in this act:

(xiv)

"Injury to or destruction of property of others" includes, but is not limited to, injury caused by the scattering or deposit of debris at a vehicle accident site;

"Liability policy" defined; required coverage; additional clauses.

(n)

Any motor vehicle liability policy shall include, as a part of its coverage for injury to or destruction of property of others, coverage for the cleanup costs associated with the scattering or deposit of debris at a vehicle accident site.

This act shall apply only to insurance policies, certificates, surety bonds, self-insurance and other forms of financial responsibility permitted under W.S. 31

415 which are delivered, issued, renewed or originated on or after July 1, 2013.

Section 3.

This act is effective July 1, 2013.
