This act authorizes the commission to designate any species listed as game fish as non-game in specific waters, through rule and regulation.
WORKING DRAFT ORIGINAL HOUSE BILL NO. 0131 ENROLLED ACT NO. 52, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES SIXTY-SECOND LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WYOMING 2013 GENERAL SESSION AN ACT relating to game fish; providing for designation of species of fish as nongame species in specified waters through rule and regulation; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. W.S. 23 ‑ 1 ‑ 101(a)(v) is amended to read: 23 ‑ 1 ‑ 101. Definitions of wildlife. (a) As used in this act: (v) "Game fish" means bass, catfish, crappie, grayling, ling burbot , northern pike, perch, salmon, sauger, sunfish, trout, walleye or whitefish unless the species is otherwise designated by the commission in specific waters through rule and regulation ; Section 2. This act is effective immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constitution.
