AN ACT relating to
education; requiring required remedial classes at the

niversity and community colleges to be free of tuition and fees;
and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

(a)

To qualify for state funding, a community college shall:

)

Be accredited academically by the regional accrediting agency;

and

(iii)

Admission of state high school graduates without examination.

(a)

A person who graduates from a high school in this state shall be admitted to a community college of this state without further qualifying examination.

Section 2.

This act is effective July 1, 2013.
