game and fish; providing for issuance of replacement hunting licenses for animals diagnosed with wildlife diseases as specified; providing for rulemaking;
and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Limitation of number of big or trophy game animal licenses; reservation of certain licenses; reservation of certain unused licenses.

applies for and receives a
license for any
deer
or
elk
may
request a new
antlerless
license for the particular species
of
animal
if, after harvesting the animal, the
animal
tests positive for chronic wasting disease on one (1) or more tests administered by the department or the Wyoming state veterinary laboratory
.

The commission shall promulgate rules and regulations providing for the issuance of a reduced price antlerless license upon the request of the licensed hunter who harvested the chronic wasting disease infected animal. The commission shall issue the new license at no cost to the applicant.

Section 2.

This act is effective July 1, 2013.
