WORKING DRAFT 2013 STATE OF WYOMING 13LSO-0546 HOUSE BILL NO. HB0246 Governmental entities-sale of petroleum products. Sponsored by: Representative(s) Larsen A BILL for AN ACT relating to administration of the government; prohibiting state agencies and entities from selling petroleum or petroleum products to any nongovernmental entity as specified; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. W.S. 9 ‑ 2 ‑ 1016 by creating a new subsection (m) is amended to read: 9 ‑ 2 ‑ 1016. General services division. (m) No state agency or entity including any city, town, county or the department of transportation shall sell or contract to sell any petroleum or petroleum product including gasoline or diesel fuel to any nongovernmental entity . The general services division shall adopt rules as necessary to implement this subsection. Nothing in this subsection shall be deemed to affect any oil lease or to affect any contract existing as of January 1, 2013. Section 2. This act is effective immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constitution. (END) 1 HB0246
