boards of cooperative educational services; modifying specified provisions to reflect agreements entered into between participating school
and community college district boards of trustees

and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Section

1.

chairman, clerk and treasurer; meetings
; distribution of board tax revenues
.

(a)

At its first meeting, the members of the board of cooperative educational services elected as set forth in W.S. 21
‑
20
‑
104(b) shall proceed to elect from their
membership a chairman, a vice
-
chairman, a clerk
,
and a treasurer, whose terms of office shall be for one (1) year unless their terms of office as school board
or community college district board

members expire earlier. The duties of the chairman, vice
-
chairman, clerk and treasurer of the board of cooperative educational services shall be the same as the duties provided by law for similar offices of boards of trustees of school districts within this state
insofar as they are

as
applicable. Meetings of the board of cooperative educational services shall be called, held and conducted as provided by law for the meeting of the boards of trustees of school districts within this state
, unless otherwise provided by the agreement entered into under W.S. 21
‑
20-104(a)
.

(b)

Revenues received by a board of cooperative educational services
pursuant to the additional special school district taxes levied under W.S. 21
‑
20
‑
109(a)
and
21
‑
20
‑
110(a) and (h) for the maintenance of the educational programs provided by the board, shall be distributed in accordance with the agreement entered into by the participating boards of trustees under W.S. 21
‑
20
‑
104(a).

Section 2.

This act is effective July 1, 2013.
