Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Section 1.

Cruelty to animals; penalties; limitation on manner of destruction.

(b)

A person commits cruelty to animals if he
:

(i)

H
as the charge and custody of any animal and unnecessarily fails to provide it with the proper food, drink or protection from the weather, or cruelly abandons
the animal, or in the case of immediate, obvious, serious illness or injury, fails to provide the animal with appropriate care
;

(ii)

Confines or causes to be confined any animal and fails to supply the animal with a sufficient quantity
of water and food with nutritive value which is adequate to maintain the animal in good body condition
.

Section 2.

This act is effective immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constitution.
