Elements:

Repeals the Pest Control Compact.

The pest control compact was a compact among a number of
states to allow member states to coordinate pest control activities and to
provide an insurance fund for emergency pest control activities.

Comments:

Delayed effective date: The following language is
included in article ten of the compact dealing with repeal: Any party state
may withdraw from this compact by enacting a statute repealing the same, but no
such withdrawal shall take effect until two (2) years after the executive head
of the withdrawing state has given notice in writing of the withdrawal to the
executive heads of all other party states.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

This act is effective immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constitution.
