Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Section 1.

Child in custody; no detention without court order; exceptions; notice to parent or guardian; release.

(d)

For purposes of this section, "other responsible adult" means a
n adult
designated
by
order
of
a
district
court.

The court
shall not
des
ignate an
adult
to whom a juvenile may be released

unless

the court
has
recei
ved
an
affidavit
or other credible evidence
establishing that the designated
adult
is willing and able to care
for
and supervise the juvenile and the
court has received

the
designated adult's
written promise
under subsection (b) of this section
.

Section 2.

is act is effective July 1, 2014.
