A BILL for AN ACT relating to public safety and welfare; authorizing the regulation of push carts as specified; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. W.S. 31 ‑ 5 ‑ 109 is amended to read: 31 ‑ 5 ‑ 109. General powers of local authorities . (a) This act does not prevent local authorities with respect to streets and highways under their jurisdiction and within the reasonable exercise of the police power from: (xvi) Regulating persons propelling push carts , including the proper stowage of push carts and signage advising of an obligation to properly stow push carts , whether on a public highway or elsewhere as necessary in the reasonable exercise of police power ; Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2014. (END) 1 HB0144
