Sponsored by: Representative(s) Throne, Berger, Greear, Madden, Petroff and Zwonitzer, Dn. and Senator(s) Rothfuss A BILL for AN ACT relating to state employment; providing that human resource managers in all state agencies are permanent employees as specified; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1. W.S. 9 ‑ 2 ‑ 1022( a)(xi) by creating a new subparagraph (G) is amended to read: 9 ‑ 2 ‑ 1022. Duties of department performed through human resources division. (a) Subject to subsection (b) of this section, the department through the human resources division shall: (xi) Promulgate reasonable rules: (G) Providing that human resource managers in all agencies, following any applicable probationary period under the rules, are permanent and not at-will employees. Section 2. This act is effective July 1, 2014. (END) 1 HB0150
