SIXTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WYOMING
2015 General Session

AN ACT relating to the next generation science standards; allowing the state board to expend funds in consideration of the next generation science standards in adoption of uniform student content and performance standards; and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Section 1.

2014 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 26, Section 2, Section 206, Footnote 3 is repealed.

Section 2.

The state board of education shall independently examine and scrutinize any science standards proposed or reviewed as a template in order to ensure that final standards adopted for Wyoming schools promote excellence.

This act is effective
immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become a law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constitution.
