Summary/Major Elements:

Under current law, the Game and Fish Commission, upon receipt of the appropriate license fee, may issue up to 50 antelope licenses each year to non
-
profit organizations dedicated to providing hunting opportunities to individuals with disabilities.

This bill specifies the cost of these licenses shall be equal to the cost of a resident antelope license.

This bill provides recoupment to the Game and Fish Commission of the difference between the amount received for the antelope license and the amount the Commission should have received to issue that particular license.

(a)

Not later than July 31, 2007, and not later than July 31 of each subsequent year thereafter, the chief fiscal officer of the game and fish department shall prepare and certify a report of licenses sold or issued in the previous calendar year under the following statutes:
