Under current law

a county may enter into an agreement to form a joint powers board with cities, towns, other counties, school districts and other governmental entities to serve as community juvenile services boards. Community juvenile services boards review services available for juveniles within their catchment area, develop strategic plans, and develop and coordinate services for juveniles.

have to comply with the W.S. 16-1-105, procedures relating to joint agreements necessary for the creation of a joint powers board.

AN ACT relating to community juvenile services boards; authorizing counties to form community juvenile service boards as administrative boards; and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Community juvenile services boards; advisory boards.

(a)

A county may, in accordance with the Wyoming Joint Powers Act, enter into an agreement with one (1) or more counties, any or all cities within the county or counties, and any or all school districts within the county or counties, to form a joint powers board
or
,

by an agreement among the entities specified in this subsection,
to serve as a community juvenile services board under this act.

Any board formed under this subsection shall comply with the requirements specified in W.S. 16

105.

The board
formed under this subsection

shall include, at a minimum, representation from five (5) of the following entities within the jurisdictional boundaries of the community juvenile services board:
