Game and fish wildlife round up program
; rules.

(a)

There is created the game and fish wildlife round up program where a
retail
business

in this state may enter into an agreement with the commission to provide
customers of that
retail
business
a voluntary
opportunity to donate funds for

wildlife
and habitat management and research
. The opportunity for donation shall be disclosed at the time
a retail
purchase
is made
and in a manner that allows a
customer

the opportunity
to round up the
amount of their
purchase to the next whole dollar
or designate the amount of the donation desired
. T
he difference between the purchase price and the next whole dollar amount
or the amount designated
constitutes a donation to the wildlife round up
program
. No additional
amounts
for making the donation shall be charged to the
customer
by the
retail
business
.
The commission and the
participating
business may include in the agreement provisions for retention of a portion of the donated funds
by the retail business
as an administrative fee in an amount not to exceed twenty percent (20%) of the donations collected.
The commission may contract for services to administer the round up program.

(b)

The commission may
promulgate rules and regulations to implement the program established in subsection (a) of this section.
