Definitions of wildlife.

(a)

As used in this act:

(i)

Big game animal
"
means antelope, bighorn sheep,
mule
deer,
whitetail deer,
elk, moose or mountain goat;

(xiv)

means mule deer or whitetail deer
, unless the context requires otherwise
.

Notwithstanding subsection (a) of this section, the commission shall promulgate rules and regula
tions governing the issuance

and establish separate hunting seasons
