SIXTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WYOMING
2015 General Session

AN ACT relating to game and fish; providing an appropriation; directing the removal or relocation of big horn sheep as specified; and providing for an effective date.

Be It Enacted
by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Section
1
.

There is appropriated thirty-seven thousand five hundred dollars ($37,500.00) from the general fund to the game and fish department. This appropriation shall be for the period beginning with the effective date of this
act and ending December 31, 2020
.
This appropriation shall only be expended for the purpose of removing or relocating the
Darby Mountain
big horn sheep herd from the
Bridger-Teton National
Forest boundaries as a result of any federal judicial or agency action requiring the elimination or suspension of any domestic sheep grazing in the
Wyoming range
of the
Bridger-Teton National Forest
,
in conformance with the Final Report and Recommendations from the Wyoming State-wide Bighorn/Domestic Sheep Interaction Working group dated September 2004
.
Removal or relocatio
n shall be accomplished by the d
epartment

as soon as practicable but not
later than December 31, 2020
. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, this appropriation shall not be transferred or expended for any other purpose and any unexpended, unobligated funds remaining from this appropriation shall revert as provide
d by law on December 31, 2020
.
This appropriation shall not be included in the department's 201

-201
8
standard biennial budget request.

Section 2.
This act is effective immediately upon completion of all acts necessary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyoming Constitution.
