Trapping licenses; tagging; traps and snares; penalty; confiscation; inspection; interference with trapping.

(h)

Any person holding a valid mountain lion license may
take a mountain lion by use of
a
trap or snare
. T
he commission shall promulgate rules and regulations setting forth the specifications for traps and snares used for the taking of mountain lions and the time period for checking
the
traps and snares.
Except as otherwise provided by commission rule
promulgated in accordance with this subsection
, the provisions in this section regulating the trapping of furbearing and predatory animals shall apply to the trapping of mountain lions.
