(a)

In addition to any other duties assigned by law, the state superintendent shall:

Duties of the state board of education.

(a)

The state board of education shall:

The state board shall, in consultation with the state superintendent and local districts, establish by rule and regulation policies and procedures to administer the provisions of this paragraph.

(a)

The board of trustees in each school district shall:
