2016 STATE OF WYOMING 16LSO-0308 Introduced 1.2 HOUSE BILL NO. HB0158 Hathaway scholarship eligibility for noncitizens. Sponsored by: Representative(s) Connolly, Northrup, Petroff and Zwonitzer, Dn. and Senator(s) Craft and Rothfuss A BILL for AN ACT relating to the Hathaway student scholarship program; repealing a provision excluding noncitizens and nonpermanent resident aliens from scholarship eligibility; and providing for an effective date. Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming: Section 1 . W.S. 21 ‑ 16 ‑ 1303( e)(i) is repealed. Section 2 . This act shall apply to Hathaway scholarships available to eligible high school students graduating school year 2015 ‑ 2016 and each year thereafter. Section 3 . This act is effective immediately upon completion of all acts nec essary for a bill to become law as provided by Article 4, Section 8 of the Wyo ming Constitution. (END) 1 HB0158
