Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

Tuition to be as nearly free as possible; number, qualifications and selection of students for reduced tuition; tuition for veterans, their spouses and children; reciprocal residency; tuition for AmeriCorps service.

(g)

A person who has qualified for resident tuition under subsection (e)
or (h)
of this section shall remain qualified in subsequent years if the person pursues one or more courses of education while remaining continuously enrolled, other than during regularly scheduled breaks, lives in the state during the term of enrollment and, if the person is eligible through a transfer of eligibility pursuant to 38 U.S.C. 3319, the transfer has not been validly revoked.

(h)

A person shall
qualify as a resident for purposes of tuition at the University of Wyoming or
a
Wyoming community college if
he provides a certification of service or other proof that
he

served
in an
AmeriCorps program in th

for at least twelve (12) months and that service terminated not more than twelve (12) months preceding application for resident tuition.

Powers and duties of the commission.

(a)

The commission shall perform the following general functions:
